If you're backpacking and looking for a lovely location, Bray Cottage Sidmouth is the perfect choice. With a short trip into town, you have easy access to all the amenities you need. the cottage itself is clean and well-equipped, providing a comfortable stay. the beds are made up with nice bedding and towels are supplied, plus there's a hair dryer and hand wash available. the outdoor picnic table is a great spot to enjoy a meal or just relax. a great option for backpackers in search of a peaceful and convenient stay.

The seating in the cottage could be more comfortable, which can make it a bit challenging to relax indoors for long periods of time.

We got great value for our money at Bray Cottage. The room was clean and cozy, with comfy beds and all the necessary amenities. The location was lovely, right next to the donkey sanctuary, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety and options.

Stayed at a lovely cottage near a donkey sanctuary. Needed a car to explore surrounding areas but could walk to the sanctuary. Clean cottage with all necessary facilities, including hair dryer and hand wash. Beds were made up with nice bedding and towels provided. Milk and biscuits were a nice touch. Picnic bench outside. Electricity meter had sufficient credit for our 5-day stay. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way. 😊.

The cottage was clean and well-maintained, with a fully equipped kitchenette and comfortable beds. The location was great, with easy access to the main road and a lovely donkey sanctuary nearby. The welcome basket with tea, milk, and biscuits was a nice touch.

The seating in the cottage was incredibly uncomfortable, making it difficult to relax and enjoy our time indoors. the holiday park where the cottage was located seemed run down and lacked necessary facilities, such as a local shop.

We stayed at a cosy and clean cottage. the beds were really comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for our clothes. Claire and Duncan had decorated the cottage for Christmas, and we appreciated the little Christmas tree and festive touches. Tea, coffee, milk, and mince pies were provided, which was a nice touch. We also liked that the cottage was dog-friendly and that there was a dog bowl and treats available. the location was ideal, just 10 minutes from Sidmouth, and we enjoyed being woken up to the sound of the beautiful donkeys next door in the Sanctuary. We would definitely come here again. Thank you Claire and Duncan. Cons: N/A.

Spacious and classy chalet-style holiday house with vibrant decor. Equipped with stereo system and thoughtful treats in the fridge. Great wet room bathroom. A DVD player issue was the only hiccup. No internet, but a welcome break from phones. Parking and air conditioning would be nice additions. Dog-friendly and value for money.

The cottage was clean and cosy, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. The owners had decorated it nicely for Christmas, adding a festive touch. The location was great, just a short distance from the beach and close to a popular attraction. It was also a quiet and peaceful area, perfect for a relaxing stay.

The cottage was a bit hard to locate due to the holiday park it was situated in. The lack of shops and amenities nearby meant that having transportation was necessary.

The lock box code was promptly provided over the phone. The property was clean and well-equipped with thoughtful touches like fresh milk and biscuits. The location next to a donkey farm added to the charm. We had a pleasant stay with sufficient electric credit, and the option to purchase WiFi if needed.

The cottage provided a cosy and clean environment, perfect for a Christmas getaway. the beds were extremely comfortable, and there was plenty of storage space for clothes. the Christmas decorations added a festive touch, and the complimentary tea, coffee, milk, and mince pies were a nice welcoming gesture. the location of the cottage was ideal, as it was just a short distance from the main attractions. Being able to visit my daughter who lives nearby was effortless. the quiet surroundings provided a peaceful atmosphere, allowing for a relaxing stay.

There were a few aspects of the cottage that were disappointing. the shower was not very powerful, and the hot water supply was not reliable.
